Chara Livera grew up on a tiny island called Cyprus in the heart of the Mediterranean sea, before moving to London where she currently resides and works. She studied Psychology with Fine Art at undergraduate level (BSc), followed by a Masters of Science (MSc) in Organisational and Social Psychology at the London School of Economics. This was alongside undertaking a Diploma in Creative Fashion Design at the London College of Contemporary Arts.

 

The somewhat unconventional combination between psychology and art has always been a pairing that Chara has been fascinated by. This directly links to her Gemini-focused nature, which allows her dynamic personality to flourish; both in her day-to-day vocation working as a research analyst for a global PR company, as well as in her creative expression through her paintings. She fulfils her creative calling as a fine artist by creating paintings that marry her background in psychology with her love of realist and increasingly surrealist paintings.
